Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade

  • 2 pounds Chicken pieces (legs, wings, breasts) Use your preferred cuts of chicken.
  • 2 cups Buttermilk Marinate chicken in buttermilk.

Breading Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

For Frying

  • Oil as needed Oil for frying Use enough oil for deep frying.
  • Creamy sauce (like ranch or garlic sauce) For serving.

Instructions
 

Marination

  • Marinate chicken pieces in buttermilk for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Preparation

  • Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl.
  • Coat the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 15-18 minutes.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve hot with a creamy sauce.
