Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey You can use ground chicken as an alternative.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Feel free to mix cheeses for more flavor.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing Substitute with Greek yogurt if desired.
  • 1 cup salsa Experiment with different salsas for variety.
  • 1 cup crushed tortilla chips Toast for extra crunch if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions For garnish.
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef (or turkey), ranch dressing, salsa, taco seasoning, and half of the shredded cheese.
  • Spoon the mixture into bite-sized portions and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Top each bite with crushed tortilla chips and the remaining cheese.

Cooking

  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve warm.

Notes

Serve while warm with extra salsa or guacamole. Store in the fridge for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
