Ingredients
  

For the meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

For the noodle bake

  • 1 lb egg noodles
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

Cooking

  • Cook the meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat until browned on all sides.
  • In a separate pot, cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, combine beef broth, heavy cream, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until slightly thickened.

Baking

  • In a large baking dish, combine the cooked meatballs, egg noodles, and sauce. Mix well to combine.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use ground turkey instead of beef and pork. Adding mushrooms or spinach can enhance the dish's flavor and nutritional value. This dish can be prepared ahead of time and makes great leftovers.
