  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  • In a bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  • Pour the mixture over the pork in the slow cooker.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the pork is tender.
  • Once cooked, shred the pork with two forks and mix it back into the sauce.
  • Serve the pineapple pork over rice or alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days or frozen for up to three months. To reheat, add water or broth to keep it moist.
