  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated For coating the chicken.

  • 1/4 cup butter For sautéing garlic.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the dish.
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice Freshly squeezed is ideal.

  • 1 bunch Fresh parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, flour, salt, and pepper.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture, ensuring it’s well coated.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and drizzle with lemon juice.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with the garlic lemon butter sauce.

Notes

Check for doneness at 165°F (75°C). Feel free to swap chicken for turkey or prawns, and add red pepper flakes for more heat. For vegan options, substitute chicken with tofu or cauliflower.
