  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • In one dish, mix breadcrumbs, half the Parmesan, and seasonings.
  • In another bowl, beat together the eggs and milk.
  • Put flour in a third dish.
  • Dredge the chicken in flour, dip it in the egg mixture, then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  • Mix the remaining Parmesan with mozzarella and garlic, then spread on top of the chicken.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked through.

Notes

Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch, adjust seasoning to taste, and consider marinating chicken in Italian dressing for added flavor.
