Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni/pasta of your choice
  • 3 cups water Adjust based on pasta requirements
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2.5 cups sharp cheddar (freshly grated) Freshly grated melts better
  • 2 cups mozzarella (freshly grated) Freshly grated melts better

Spices and Seasonings

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder Adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tbsp paprika Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1.5 tsp sugar

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Grate the cheese and prepare all the ingredients.
  • Add the dried macaroni and water to a pot.

Cooking

  • Over medium-high heat, bring the pot to a boil.
  • Once boiling, turn the heat down to medium-low and cook the pasta until al dente, following package instructions.
  • Lower the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and other cheeses until creamy and gooey.

Serving

  • Serve hot right out of the pot, topping with cracked pepper, paprika, or crispy breadcrumbs if desired.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave, adding a splash of milk.
