Ingredients
  

Fritter Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated apples Use apples that are fresh and tart for best flavor.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon For added warmth.
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg A hint of spice.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances flavor.
  • 1/2 cup milk Any variety of milk can be used.
  • 1 large egg For binding.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract For flavor enhancement.
  • to taste cooking spray or oil for air frying Used for crispiness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix grated apples, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed—don’t overdo it!
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Scoop the batter onto a parchment-lined air fryer basket, leaving space in between.
  • Spray lightly with cooking spray or drizzle with oil.

Cooking

  • Air fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar or serve with vanilla ice cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce for an extra treat.
