Preparation

  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gently fold in the mini marshmallows and chopped nuts if you’re feeling nutty.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased 8x8 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until set.
  • Once set, cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For a softer fudge, don't let it chill longer than 2 hours. Keep your fudge fresh in the fridge for up to two weeks or freeze it for up to three months. Wrap tightly to avoid freezer burn.
