Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for best results.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is preferred.
  • 1/4 cup almond flour Can swap for coconut flour if desired.
  • 1 large egg Bind ingredients together.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Toasted garlic adds more flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

For the Marinara Sauce

  • 2 cups marinara sauce Use your favorite store-bought or homemade sauce.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, almond flour, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  • Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  • While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan.
  • Once the meatballs are done, serve them with marinara sauce on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days. Meatballs freeze well for up to 3 months. Serve with zoodles or a side salad for a full meal.
