Preheat the Blackstone Griddle
Turn on the griddle and set it to medium heat.
Allow it to heat for 5–10 minutes until it reaches 375°F to 400°F.
Lightly coat the surface with oil to prevent sticking.
Cook the Hot Dogs
Place the hot dogs on the griddle using tongs (avoid piercing the casing).
Rotate them every 2–3 minutes to ensure an even sear.
Cook for about 7–10 minutes, or until golden brown with slight charring.
Toast the Buns
Slice the buns (if not pre-sliced) and lightly butter the inside.
Place them cut-side down on the griddle for 1–2 minutes, until golden and crispy.
Prepare Toppings (Optional)
Caramelized onions: Cook sliced onions in butter for 10 minutes until golden.
Sautéed peppers: Cook bell peppers with salt for 7–8 minutes until tender.
Crispy bacon: Cook bacon strips, then chop into small pieces.
Melt Cheese (Optional)
In the last minute of cooking, place cheese slices on top of the hot dogs.
Cover with a basting cover to help the cheese melt evenly.
Assemble and Serve
Place the cooked hot dogs in the toasted buns.
Add desired toppings and condiments (mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce, etc.).
Serve with fries, hash browns, or grilled vegetables for a complete meal!
