  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust according to heat preference

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • In a small bowl, mix honey with red pepper flakes.
  • Once the chicken is seared, sprinkle feta cheese over the top.
  • Drizzle the honey mixture over the feta and chicken.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken with honey and spices a few hours before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
