  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey Feel free to taste!
  • 2 pieces eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix-Ins

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional) Add if you're feeling naughty.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the honey, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to your wet mix, combining just until mixed.
  • Stir in the rolled oats and chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges just start to turn golden.
  • Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For best results, chill the dough for about 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Experiment with add-ins like raisins or nuts for variety. Use a cookie scoop for uniform sizes.
