Ingredients
  

Churro Batter

  • 1 cup water Use to create the dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Adds richness to the dough
  • 1 tablespoon sugar For sweetness in the batter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Main ingredient for the churros
  • 3 large eggs For binding and texture

Coating

  • 1 cup granulated sugar For rolling the churros
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon For flavoring the sugar coating

Frying

  • Oil For frying churros
  • Nutella For filling the churro bites

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a pot, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in flour until a ball forms.
  • Let it cool slightly, then beat in eggs until smooth.

Frying

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or a heavy pot.
  • Using a piping bag, pipe small bites into the hot oil.
  • Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels.

Coating and Filling

  • In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon. Roll churro bites in the mixture.
  • Fill each churro bite with Nutella, using a piping bag. Serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm with options to dip in extra Nutella or served with whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days.
