  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, chopped onions, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Can top with green onions or a dollop of sour cream for garnish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Can also be frozen.
