  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 head lettuce (for wrapping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in diced bell peppers and shredded carrots.
  • Mix in soy sauce and rice vinegar, cooking until vegetables are tender.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve the beef mixture in lettuce cups and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

These wraps can be customized with different vegetables or proteins. Store leftover filling and lettuce separately for up to 3 days.
