Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 2 tbsp gochujang Korean red chili paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For added flavor
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil Adds richness
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Adjust according to taste
  • 1 tsp sugar Balances the spice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Main ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken pieces Bone-in chicken is recommended for juiciness
  • Green onions for garnish (optional) Add color and freshness

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together gochujang, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
  • Cook the chicken until it is fully cooked through and has a nice glaze, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

For more flavor, marinate longer, use bone-in chicken, and adjust the spice level by adding more or less gochujang.
