  • 1 cup flaxseeds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (optional) For additional flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and salt.
  • If using dried herbs, toss those in now for an extra flavor kick.
  • Pour in the water and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Let the mixture rest for about 15 minutes until it thickens up a bit.

Baking

  • Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet evenly with a spatula.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until it’s golden and crisp, flipping halfway through for perfect crunchiness.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before breaking into pieces.

Notes

These crackers can be stored in an airtight container for about two weeks. To extend their life, freeze them and reheat in the oven for a few minutes when ready to eat.
