  • 4 pieces Pork chops Bone-in or boneless
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Unsalted for better control of seasoning
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For searing
  • to taste Fresh herbs (optional) Thyme or parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • During the last minute of cooking, add butter and minced garlic to the pan.
  • Spoon the melted garlic butter over the pork chops while they finish cooking.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or skillet, adding more garlic butter if desired.
