  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened Use soft butter for easy blending.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix-ins

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Fold in gently.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let them cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a glass of milk or ice cream for an indulgent treat. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months. Reheat in the microwave when ready to enjoy!
