Ingredients
  

For the Tuna Filling

  • 1 can tuna Use drained canned tuna
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1 tablespoon mustard Whole grain or Dijon can be used
  • 1/4 cup diced celery Adds crunch
  • 1/4 cup diced onion Can substitute with green onion for a milder taste
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference

For Assembly

  • 2 pieces whole wheat wraps Can substitute with any preferred wrap
  • 2 slices cheese Cheddar or your choice
  • 1 handful lettuce or spinach For freshness
  • 1 sliced tomato Optional, for added flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, salt, and pepper.
  • Lay out the whole wheat wrap and place a handful of lettuce or spinach in the center.
  • Spoon the tuna mixture onto the lettuce and top with a slice of cheese and tomatoes if desired.
  • Roll the wrap tightly and slice it in half.

Optional Grilling

  • Grill the wrap in a skillet for 1-2 minutes on each side to melt the cheese before serving.

Notes

These wraps are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. To prevent sogginess, wrap them tightly in foil or parchment. Reheat in a skillet before serving if desired.
