  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits Prepare according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven according to the biscuit package instructions.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the sloppy joe sauce and heat through.
  • Prepare the biscuits according to package directions.

Assembly and Baking

  • Spoon the sloppy joe mixture over half of each biscuit, top with cheese, and fold the other half of the biscuit over the filling.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the biscuits are golden brown.

Notes
