  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Juicy and tender
  • 8 oz egg noodles Substitutes like whole wheat or gluten-free can be used.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Use unsalted for better control of seasoning.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1 cup chicken broth You can use low-sodium if desired.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to preference.
  • to taste Parsley for garnish Optional but adds color and freshness.

  • In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the pan.
  • Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the pan and add the remaining butter.
  • Stir until the butter is melted and everything is well combined.
  • Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat on the stove or in the microwave.
