Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 fillets salmon fillets
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the mango salsa

  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon Juice of lime
  • to taste Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional) Optional ingredient for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Cooking

  • Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  • In a bowl, combine the diced mango, red onion, jalapeño, lime juice, and cilantro.

Serving

  • Top the grilled salmon with the mango salsa and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for about 2 days. The mango salsa can be made a day in advance.
