Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Shred the chicken if desired, and serve over cooked rice or noodles.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions if using.

Notes

Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 4 days and can be frozen for about 3 months. To reheat, microwave or use stovetop until warmed through. Prep chicken and sauce in advance for quicker cooking.
