  • 1 cup salsa Choose mild or spicy according to your taste.

  • sour cream For creaminess.
  • chopped green onions Adds freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • In the crockpot, combine the ground beef, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, and salsa.

Layering

  • Layer half of the tortilla chips and half of the cheese on top of the mixture.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining chips and cheese.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.

Serving

  • Before serving, top with optional toppings such as sour cream, green onions, and jalapeƱos.

Notes
