  • 2 lbs chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  • Add the cream cheese on top of the chicken.

Cooking

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Shred the chicken with two forks right in the crockpot.
  • Stir in the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve it up over rice, in sandwiches, or on its own, garnished with green onions if desired.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. When ready to eat, thaw and reheat.
