  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with whole wheat flour.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Can substitute with pumpkin spice.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk Add more if batter is too thick.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cooking spray or oil for air frying For preventing sticking.

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla.
  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the diced apples.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or lightly brush with oil.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, leaving space between them.

Cooking

  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and crispy.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel sauce before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
