  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For searing
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken thighs on both sides until golden brown—about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning some sauce over them.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Enjoy with buttery mashed potatoes or roasted veggies for a complete meal. For leftovers, store in an airtight container. Reheat in the oven for crispy skin.
