Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and paprika.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, cover, and let simmer for about 15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken over rice or pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For an extra crunch, consider serving alongside a simple green salad. Leftovers keep well in the fridge for about 3-4 days or can be frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat over low heat, adding a splash of cream or broth if the sauce thickens too much. Consider ingredient swaps like using Italian seasoning instead of thyme and oregano for a twist.
