  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound crispy bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns, thawed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and layer the thawed hash browns evenly at the bottom.
  • Top the hash browns with crumbled bacon and shredded cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the top, ensuring it fills all the spaces.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Garnish with green onions if desired.

Notes

Customize by swapping out bacon for sausage or ham, and mix different cheeses for extra flavor. Allow leftovers to cool and store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Reheat to enjoy.
