For the filling

  • 1.25 cups heavy cream Heat until simmering
  • 2 cups good-quality bittersweet chocolate (chopped) Use similar size pieces for even melting
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the topping

  • 2 pints fresh raspberries
  • Confectioners’ sugar for dusting Optional, for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation of Crust

  • In a bowl, combine Oreo crumbs and melted butter. Mix until well-coated.
  • Press the mixture into a tart pan, ensuring even coverage.
  • Chill the crust in the fridge.

Preparation of Filling

  • Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium until simmering.
  • Remove from heat, add chopped chocolate and vanilla, stirring until smooth.

Assembly

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the chilled crust and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
  • Top with fresh raspberries and dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate. Chill the crust thoroughly before filling. You can make it vegan by substituting coconut oil for butter and using vegan chocolate.
