For the chocolate peanut butter hearts

  • 1 cup peanut butter Smooth peanut butter works best.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For sweetness and texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Choose dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • Heart-shaped candy molds For shaping the hearts.
  • Sprinkles Optional decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Assembly

  • Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into the heart-shaped molds, spreading it to cover the bottom.
  • Add a small amount of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate in the molds.
  • Cover the peanut butter layer with more melted chocolate, ensuring it is sealed.
  • If desired, add sprinkles on top for that extra flair.
  • Freeze for about 30 minutes until set.
  • Carefully remove the hearts from the molds and serve.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for about one week or in the freezer for up to three months. Let frozen hearts thaw in the refrigerator before enjoying.
