Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • A pinch salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cold eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, slightly softened

Chocolate Chips

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, for 3-4 minutes.

Baking

  • Fold in the chocolate chips to the mixed batter.
  • Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  • Let them cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. To freeze, store in airtight containers for up to 3 months.
