Ingredients
  

Dough and Filling

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough Can substitute with puff pastry or homemade dough.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Can substitute with cheddar or pepper jack for variety.

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.

For Serving

  • 1 cup Marinara sauce For dipping.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  • Place a small amount of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  • Fold the dough over the cheese to form a ball and pinch the edges to seal.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the garlic herb butter over the rolls.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a crispy bottom, place the rolls directly on the baking sheet without parchment paper. These can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
