Ingredients
  

For the Crostini

  • 8 slices slices baguette Use day-old baguette for extra crunch!
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Use infused olive oil for added flavor.

For the Topping

  • 8 ounces burrata cheese Can substitute with creamy goat cheese if needed.
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced Can swap for smoked turkey for a lighter option.
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves Add just before serving.
  • to taste Balsamic glaze Drizzle over just before serving for a tangy flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
  • Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until lightly golden and crisp.
  • Once cooled slightly, spread a generous amount of burrata cheese on each crostini.
  • Drape a slice of prosciutto over the burrata.
  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, assemble the crostini just before serving. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days but are best fresh!
