Glaze Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons milk Adjust for desired consistency

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, cream the brown sugar and butter until smooth.
  • Add the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until combined.

Baking

  • Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.

Glazing

  • For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth.
  • Once the cookies are cooled, drizzle the maple glaze on top.
