Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 ea egg
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce for coating the meatballs
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Form mixture into small meatballs, roughly the size of golf balls.

Cooking

  • Place the meatballs in a crockpot.
  • Pour BBQ sauce over the meatballs.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Serving

  • Serve hot as an appetizer, skewering for cocktail parties or over a bed of fluffy rice.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using ground turkey or chicken. You can experiment with spices by adding cayenne or red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
