  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb/450g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, garlic powder, ginger, and honey (if using).
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat them with the sweet chili mixture, ensuring they’re evenly covered.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • While the chicken is cooking, season the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then place them in the air fryer basket as well.
  • Cook the Brussels sprouts for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.

Serving

  • Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve the sliced chicken with the crispy Brussels sprouts. Drizzle with any remaining sweet chili sauce from the air fryer basket if desired.
