Ingredients
  

For the chicken tenders

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For breading

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

For cooking

  • 1 spray Cooking spray For coating the air fryer basket

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together honey, melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Add chicken tenders to the bowl and coat them evenly with the honey garlic mixture.
  • On a separate plate, spread out your breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each chicken tender in the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are fully coated.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the breaded chicken tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don’t overlap.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with ranch or honey mustard for dipping. They pair well with a side salad or can be added to a wrap with lettuce and tomatoes. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
