  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well-combined, but do not overwork the meat.
  • Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a small indentation in the center.

Cooking

  • Place the patties in the air fryer basket, making sure they have space in between.
  • Cook the burgers for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they reach the desired doneness (internal temp should be 160°F for medium).
  • If using cheese, add a slice on top of the patties during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  • To toast the buns, place them in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the patties rest for a few minutes before serving.

Assembly

  • Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on the bun and adding your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze patties separately to last up to 3 months.
