  • 2 large large eggs Beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Preferably panko
  • 1 jar Dill pickles Or any type of pickles you prefer
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for air frying

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the pickles to your desired thickness.
  • Set up a breading station: add flour to one bowl, beaten eggs to another, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper in a third bowl.
  • Dip each pickle slice first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs, ensuring a good coat.
  • Place the breaded pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Spray lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Store any leftovers in the fridge for about 3-4 days in an airtight container. Reheat in the air fryer for about 5 minutes to regain crunch. For extra flavor, spice up your breadcrumbs with garlic powder or cayenne.
