Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 2 slices thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread) Choose thick slices for best results.
  • 2 pieces eggs Crack one egg into each bread slice.
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.) Use your preferred cheese.
  • 1 tablespoon butter Optional, for buttering the bread.
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional) For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  • Lightly butter one side of the bread and press a well into the center.
  • Crack one egg into each bread slice.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the whites.

Cooking

  • Air fry for 6–8 minutes, until the whites are set and the cheese is melty.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Reheat in the air fryer.
