Ingredients
  

Cheese Mixture

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Choose your favorite cheese.
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened Allows for smoother mixing.

Breading and Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs For coating.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Binding Agent

  • 1 large egg Beaten for coating.

Cooking

Mixing Ingredients

  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese and cream cheese until well mixed.
  • Add breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; stir until everything’s combined nicely.

Forming Cheese Balls

  • Shape the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  • Dip each ball in beaten egg and then coat with additional breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the cheese balls in a single layer.
  • Give the tops of the cheese balls a spritz with more cooking spray.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce like marinara, ranch, or guacamole.

Notes

For best results, experiment with different types of cheese and spices. Don't overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking. Use a fork for dipping to reduce mess.
